Well Child Center
The Well Child Center at Pediatric and Adolescent Center of Grand Prairie & Arlington The WCC at PACGPA is a facility fully dedicated to preventative care. It is the next step in the evolution of delivering pediatric and adolescent care. While other pediatric clinics offer preventative care as part of their normal services – we have chosen to build a facility that will only provide well child care and well child care only! Our group of physicians believe that routine preventative care will lessen the episodes of diseases such as adult onset diabetes, obesity, and heart disease-so prevalent in young adults today. Quality Care in our State of the Art Facility
PACGPA’s commitment to delivering quality, medical care is reflected in our facility. The Well Child Center has 6 examination rooms, a reception area, and nurse’s station that utilizes the latest EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and practice management technology to ensure your child’s visit is as thorough as it can be. For your family’s safety, the building is also equipped, with a surveillance system that monitors the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Plus, we have an independently owned and operated pharmacy onsite to help your family with their prescription needs. reception
Comprehensive, Regularly Scheduled Well Child Exams Bringing your child in for regular well child checkups is an important part of their health care. These visits allow our physicians to evaluate your child’s health, growth, and development. This also gives you the opportunity to address various issues that may be of concern to you. Many parents will bring a list with them to the checkup.

Our practice follows the guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics for routine well child immunizations and screening tests. For a detailed description of PACGPA’s well child visit schedule, please visit our Forms and Documents Page.
Vaccinations Our physicians feel very strongly about the importance of vaccinating your child against preventable diseases. If you have concerns about vaccines or the vaccine schedule, please speak with your doctor.

The following websites will provide you with science-based, non –biased information so that you can make informed decisions about immunizing your child.
